Dr. Gökmen Öztürk graduated from Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine in 1994. He began his medical career as a resident at Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital in Istanbul. After completing his residency, he became a General Surgery Specialist in 1998 and later served as Chief Assistant.
From 2000 to 2006, he worked as a General Surgeon and Deputy Chief Physician at Fatih Regional Hospital in Trabzon. He later held academic and clinical positions at Medipol University and Nisa Hospital with the title of Associate Professor.
He has performed numerous advanced surgeries and was among the first in the Black Sea region to successfully complete procedures such as laparoscopic colon resection, laparoscopic reflux surgery, and laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair. He is also affiliated with MEDENLive Health Group.
